20여년 전 캐나다로 이민을 오고, 이제는 성인이 된 두 딸을 키우며 지나온 삶이 자양분이 되어 이제는 조금 더 이해와 공감의 폭이 넓어진 것 같습니다. 다양한 문화적 배경 속에서 살아가는 여러분들의 이야기에 귀 기울이며, 특히 한인 내담자분들이 겪는 정서적·관계적 어려움을 깊이 이해하고 함께 나누는 상담을 하려고 합니다.
인생의 여러 전환점에서 느끼는 혼란과 외로움, 부부 및 가족 관계에서의 갈등, 세대 간의 이해와 거리감에 공감하며 동행합니다. 스트레스와 불안, 우울감 뿐 아니라, 변화의 과정에서 자연스럽게 찾아오는 복잡한 감정들을 안전한 공간 안에서 천천히 풀어갈 수 있도록 돕고 있습니다.
상담 과정에서는 존중, 이해, 비판 없는 공간을 제공하여, 여러분이 편안하게 자신의 감정과 생각을 자유롭게 표현할 수 있도록 도와드리려 합니다. 자녀와의 세대간 갈등, 부부 관계의 소통 개선에서 가족 내 역동성에 이르기까지 여러분의 삶에 긍정적인 변화를 가져올 수 있도록 지원하고, 원하는 삶을 살 수 있기를 바랍니다.

Hello, I am a Korean Canadian counsellor working in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I am here to support you on your journey to overcome the various challenges and conflicts that come with adapting to a new environment. Having immigrated to Canada over 20 years ago and raising two daughters who are now adults, my life experiences have become a rich foundation that has deepened my capacity for understanding and empathy. My counselling services focus on intergenerational conflicts with children, understanding and communication between spouses, improving family relationships, and personal growth and self-discovery.
Immigrant life can bring about many changes and difficulties, affecting all family members. I deeply understand the unique situations and emotions experienced by immigrant families and aim to listen to your stories and provide customized solutions based on these experiences.
During the counselling process, I provide a space of respect, understanding, and non-judgment, helping you to freely express your emotions and thoughts. Together, we will work towards your goals, finding ways to achieve personal growth and harmony within the family. From intergenerational conflicts with children and improving communication in marital relationships to addressing family dynamics, I am here to help you solve the challenges you face. I am committed to supporting you in bringing positive changes to your life and assisting you in living the life you desire.

2024년 12월 20일부로, 캐나다 국세청(CRA)은 BC주에서 활동하는 공인 임상 상담사(Registered Clinical Counsellors, RCC)가 제공하는 심리치료 서비스에 대해 GST 징수가 면제됩니다.

개인적으로 보험 적용이 가능한 BC 거주 고객의 경우, 대부분의 보험회사로 직접 청구(Direct Billing) 가 가능합니다.

해당되지 않는 보험회사의 경우 상담 후 저의 RCC (Registered Clinical Counsellor) 번호가 포함된 공식 영수증을 제공해 드리며, 해당 영수증을 통해 보험회사에 직접 청구하실 수 있습니다.
